 Agenda Topics

• Review and approve the minutes from the February meeting (Julie)

  • Matt Motioned to Approve

• Glance at the budget (Matt)

  • Board approved the purchase of the math intervention program

  • Conference is lined up to talk about math- about $8,000

• Review SIP data (Matt) 

  • ​​​​​​​Glad that the behaviors are being reported 

  • Attendance looks good 

• Discuss SIP for next year

  • ​​​​​​​Option 1- Full Time teacher and 1 3.5 hour aide

  • ​​​​​​​Option 2- Half time person, instructional aides, literacy instruction software, three team days (teachers), subs for testing, book vending machine, summer team days for teachers

  • Options 3- Instructional aides, literacy instruction software, team days (summer and school year), subs for testing, book vending machine, items for instructional materials 

• Vote on 26-27 SIP

  • ​​​​​​​Ty purposed we approve third option

  • Michelle seconded 

• Discuss ideas of a focus for CC (Ty)

  • ​​​​​​​Full time prep teachers-

    • ​​​​​​​Comes up 

  • ​​​​​​​Increased unstructured time-

    • ​​​​​​​Another 15 minute recess? 

  • ​​​​​​​LLM (AI) usage-

    • ​​​​​​​Interrupt the process of learning

    • Cannot be made safe for children

    • If they use them in school they are more likely to use them outside of school

  • ​​​​​​​What does this look like to share with the school board?

    • ​​​​​​​Send to school board, they could maybe come to our meetings (Frank/ Cole Checkets) 

    • Invite for next month April 8th, Matt will reach out, if not next month see if he can make May
